Are you a newly graduated and you do not find your way in the job market? Does it seem that something is missing in your CV? Don't give up so easily and do a safe investment for your future! The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce organises training courses in order to allow young people to approach the innovative and multidisciplinary profession of the EU project manager.

The main aim of the EU project management is to get direct financial instruments from the European Commission to develop a specific idea, a project or an activity. Thanks to the several fields in which the EU provides funds (i.e management, culture, education, sport, tourism, science and technology) the EU project manager can come from a lot of different professional and academic backgrounds: from the event organizer to the languages student, from the lawyer to the accounting expert.

The required skills to work as EU project manager are different: knowledge of at least two or three foreign languages (English included), familiarity with the European financial framework, ability to build and manage an international network of contacts, inter-cultural communication skills, interest in law and economics, ambition and a strong team working spirit.

Do you think it is impossible? Not with our courses! It's all about beginning! The course for "young EU project managers" is designed for students and recent graduates who are less than 30years old and graduated for less than 18 months, with the objective to introduce the participants to the world of EU funding programmes, tenders, and documentation.

The lessons will start with an opening conference at the European Parliament, where the participants will have the unique opportunity to discover the structure and the functioning of the EU Institutions. Afterwards, the lessons will specifically deal with the activities of EU project manager, and the management of the direct and indirect funds. Furthermore, partecipants will be provided with an overall framework of the main useful methods to turn an idea in a successful project (partner searching, networking, project developing). Besides, the most important EU funding programmes will be illustrated and explained (research, culture, environment, rural developing of countryside, SMEs, social policies...)

You can't miss the Job link module service and the personalized correction of your CV! Special suggestions will be given in order to improve the appeal and the competitiveness of your CV and motivation letter, this could be a step forward to take the most of the large quantity of jobs and networking opportunities provided by the EU capital.

The next edition of "young EU project managers" (the fifth), will take place in Brussels from the 18th to the 20th April 2016. Applicants who send their registration before the 21st march can benefit of an early bird reduction.
