Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Global

Following the success of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, the EU decided to extend the action of this project geographically by launching, in 2018, the EYE Global pilot project for stays in the United States, Israel and Singapore.

To date Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) Global is a an exchange programme which gives experienced entrepreneurs based in Canada (Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia), Israel, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and the USA (NY State, California) the opportunity to collaborate with new or aspiring entrepreneurs from the European Union and the UK.

A bit about EYE Global

Within EYE Global, the collaboration between the two entrepreneurs can last from 1 to 3 months. The experienced entrepreneur helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm and the host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business, cooperating with foreign partners, and learning about new markets.

Part of the costs of the stay abroad for the new entrepreneur is covered by the European Commission. The new entrepreneurs cover the remaining costs with their own finances.

 Who can participate?

  • Experienced entrepreneurs who own and manage a Small or Medium-Sized Enterprise based Canada (British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec), Israel, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and the USA (states of New York and California).

  • EU and UK new entrepreneurs, firmly planning to set up their own business or have less than 3 years of entrepreneurial experience.

The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce role

The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce as a partner in this project, it is in charge of recruiting Host entrepreneurs based in Singapore. If you are an entrepreneur with more than 3-year experience in managing a business (SME and micro) and with a strong willingness to mentor New Entrepreneurs, are more than welcome to join this network that is enlarging year after year.
