Jan-Willem BROUWER (1956) studied History in Groningen and Paris (Paris-I, La Sorbonne). He obtained his doctorate at the Leiden University. He is a senior research fellow at the Centre for Parliamentary History at Nijmegen University. Since 1997 he teaches European integration history at the Institute of European Studies at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL).
