Ravical, a company with offices in Ghent and London that develops an artificial intelligence platform for accounting and tax firms, announced on 29 October 2026 a funding round of 17 million dollars. The investment will support the company's international expansion, with Belgium among the key markets.

The round is led by MMC Ventures, with participation from Lakestar, Pitchdrive and Shapers. Founded in 2025, Ravical aims to make the knowledge and skills of the most experienced professionals available to the entire organisation, through tools integrated into the daily activities of the firms.

The platform connects to the systems already used for accounting, taxation and payroll management, bringing together client information and documents. Its stated goal is to support preparatory work, audits and the identification of further consulting needs. Artificial intelligence is then presented as a tool to help firms increase their operational capacity and better leverage internal skills.

According to the company, over 100 accounting firms across Europe are already using the platform. The new funding will strengthen Ravical's presence in Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany, support further expansion in Europe and enable entry into the United States.

The investment represents an example of growth of a company based in Belgium that applies artificial intelligence to professional services. For Italian businesses and professionals interested in the Belgian market, the development of Ravical offers the opportunity to observe how the tools available to accounting firms and the consulting services they provide to businesses are evolving.
