Access to funding and public support measures is a fundamental element for the competitiveness and development of businesses. In this context, VLAIO, the Flemish Agency for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, promotes the Online Contact Day for Financing & Subsidies, scheduled for Tuesday 17 November 2026, from 9:00 to 17:00.
The initiative, entirely online and free of charge, is part of the activities promoted by VLAIO to facilitate businesses' access to financial resources and support tools for entrepreneurial development, contributing to strengthening investment and growth opportunities in the Flemish economic fabric.
The event, in fact, is aimed at entrepreneurs interested in starting a new business, developing entrepreneurial projects, or making further investments to support business growth. Through individual meetings with specialised consultants, participants will receive guidance on public funding opportunities, available grants, and pathways for business support. To register, interested parties must complete the online form by 9 November, indicating the issues they wish to explore, the organisation they wish to consult with, and their preferred time slots.
During the day, it will be possible to book individual online interviews lasting 30 minutes with representatives from three important organisations in the Flemish financial and entrepreneurial ecosystem: PMV (Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen), which will focus on financing instruments aimed at businesses, co-financing mechanisms, and public guarantee systems; LRM (Limburgse Reconversie Maatschappij), which will offer consultancy to businesses already established in the Limburg region or interested in starting or acquiring activities in the area; VLAIO, which will make its business consultants available to provide an overview of the grants and other support and financing measures available.
The initiative represents a particularly interesting opportunity for Italian businesses active in the Flemish market or intending to develop new entrepreneurial projects in the region. The possibility of directly engaging with the competent organisations allows for a deeper understanding of the functioning of the available financing instruments and assessing public support opportunities in relation to the characteristics of individual projects.
