Discover Abruzzo: a new destination for Belgian travellers.

The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present “Discover Abruzzo”, a tourism promotion initiative that connects Belgian tourism professionals, sector stakeholders and representatives of the Abruzzo region.

The initiative aims to enhance the tourism potential of Abruzzo and strengthen its presence in the Belgian market, offering the opportunity to discover the cultural heritage and authentic experiences of the region.

Through a dedicated B2B workshop and an evening event for regional promotion, the initiative aims to foster the creation of business partnerships, establish direct contact with local businesses, expand international networks, explore new collaboration opportunities and encourage tourist flows from Belgium to Abruzzo.

What to expect from the event

The meeting will consist of an afternoon B2B workshop and an evening event dedicated to promoting Abruzzo as a tourist destination.

The afternoon session will begin with a brief presentation of the Belgian market, followed by a B2B workshop in a walk-around format, which will connect Abruzzo tourism businesses with a selection of Belgian operators. This format will encourage direct comparison, the presentation of services and experiences offered by participating companies.

In the evening, a territorial promotion event will offer tourism professionals, stakeholders and interested guests the opportunity to learn more about Abruzzo. The programme includes institutional greetings, a presentation of the region and the participating companies, followed by a networking cocktail featuring a selection of typical Abruzzo products.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Discover Abruzzo as a tourist destination, through its landscapes, cultural heritage and distinctive experiences of the area.

• Meet directly with Abruzzo tourism businesses, delving into the services and proposals aimed at the Belgian market.

• Explore new business opportunities, identifying potential partners and developing collaborations between Italian and Belgian tourism operators, expanding their professional network.

• Discover the flavours of Abruzzo, through a selection of traditional regional products offered during the evening cocktail.
