Culture as an Economic Driver in the New AgoraEU Programme
The event
“Culture as an Economic Driver in the New AgoraEU Programme”is the event promoted by the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with institutional partners and European clusters, dedicated to the strategic role of culture in strengthening the competitiveness and resilience of the European Union.
The meeting will present two initiatives co-financed by the European Union —GELATOn the ROADandCR.EU.IN. HERITAGE— as concrete examples of how cultural heritage and the cultural and creative industries can generate growth, employment, innovation, and territorial competitiveness along the entire value chain.
Through discussions with representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission, and executive agencies, the debate will explore the positioning of culture in the future financial framework 2028–2034 and in the programmeAgoraEU, exploring synergies with policies for SMEs, sustainable tourism, and territorial value chains.
The event is designed as a structured dialogue space between policymakers, businesses, clusters, and European stakeholders, aiming to consolidate cultural heritage as a systemic asset for the competitiveness and sustainable growth of Europe.

Registration
Participation is freesubject to mandatory registration.
The in-person places at the European Parliament arelimitedand will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. An official confirmation will be sent via email to registered participants, along with logistical information and access details.

The event will take place in a hybrid format inEnglish.
The link for streaming participation will be sent to participants before the start of the event, subject to registration.
