Marco Lopriore

Senior Expert at EIPA

Marco Lopriore is a Senior Expert at EIPA, specialising in European Structural Funds, with particular expertise in the European Social Fund and simplified cost options.
He manages EIPA’s framework contract with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), as well as contracts with several managing authorities for structural funds in various Member States. He has also developed training programmes for EU institutions on European economic governance, the European Semester and the Europe 2020 strategy.
Before joining EIPA in 2007, he worked as a researcher at the Economic and Social Institute in Amsterdam, as an administrator at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Information Society, as a delegate of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, and as an expert for the European Economic and Social Committee and the SME Union Group of the European Parliament.
He holds a Master’s degree from VU University Amsterdam and the University of Cagliari.
